Bratstvo 1869 Community centre Kyustendil announces the Program of the XXVI International Classical Guitar Competition, which will be held in the period April 6-8, 2023. The participants will be judged by some of the best specialists in the field of guitar art from Bulgaria, France, Czech Republic, Serbia, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Kosovo, etc.
In addition to the competition, the program includes master classes and recitals by some of the most prominent guitarists, such as Prof. Dr. Vladislav Blaha from the Czech Republic, Eric Franceri - France, Aleksandar Hadji-Djordžević and Božko Radojković - Serbia, Assoc. Prof Dr. Elena Khoroshavina - Ukraine, and many others.
The international classical guitar competition is organized annually under the patronage of the mayor of Kyustendil Municipality - Mr. Petar Paunov. The artistic director is Mr. Ivan Andonov.
The competition is included in the Program for the Protection of Gifted Children of the Ministry of Culture, under which targeted financial support and one-year scholarships are awarded to the participants ranked first, second and third  in the second and third age groups.
